I am a professional guitarist with a master's degree in music performance. I'm looking for a pro working band in any genre of music, as well as seeking serious and motivated students who want to advance their playing to the next level. I have recently moved to this area after decades of playing, writing and recording in the Toledo-Detroit area. My specialty for the last 14 years has been jazz and blues. I have been an adjunct professor of music for the last 10 years at Adrian College and Jackson College in Southeast Michigan. I would welcome an opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to the local music scene.

Musical Influences & Inspiration

I love all genres of music. My personal journey began with The Beatles and continued through the evolution of rock. I specialize in slide guitar in the style of Duane Allman. My master's degree studies focused on jazz and classical guitar, music theory and ear training, and music history. I am a serious practitioner of jazz.
