Serious pro bassist with lead/harmony vox seeks corporate level band only. I have more than paid my dues, playing 4 hour bar gigs for $100 chump change. I am a serious player, who brings good lead and harmony vocals to the table. Plus I am a human jukebox, with hundreds and hundreds of songs in my catalog. I also know how to read a crowd, and keep things going by engaging the crowd so there is no dead air between songs. This is my vocation, not just a hobby. Not interested in weekend warrior hobby bands. Only bands that are good enough to play the corporate level gigs, or wedding gigs, or a good tribute band. And musicians that are good enough to take and fake requests, who know that its not musical perfection that draws the crowds, but being fun and entertaining! Im used to making $300 and up per gig. Sorry, not interested in country or Southern rock. Now I dont mind playing an occasional Johnny Cash or Lynyrd Skynyrd song if someone throws a $20 into the tip jar. But if that is your main genre, not interested.
