Powered by a rock solid Rhythm Section, a phat 5 piece Horn Section and Dynamic Vocals, these 10 talented musicians put their original "Flavor" on the music you love. Imagine a Megan Trainor ballad with sweeping Horn lines, or Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze with a screaming Sax and Guitar duel. The Convertible's live show is interactive. On any given night you could see our lead Guitarist off stage and in the crowd. Some nights, you'll find the entire Horn Section on the dance floor...You get the picture....it's a shared experience. Musical Influences & Inspiration

Our shows feature the classics of Rock, Funk, R&B and even current Pop and Country infused with smokin' horns. The music is showy, dancible and exciting to watch and play. Unfortunately we lost our bassist suddenly and are in need of a player with a great vibe that enjoys this type of experience. This is a large group of players with an age range of 20's - 50's consisting of 4 Rhythm & 5 Horns. We might add a Lead vocalist as well, but for now we have some fine vocalists in the players. The material is classic soul, blues, rock and funk, as well as a few covers of current songs with our own spin on it. We rehearse in sections (Rhythm/Horns) then come together as a group for dynamics, vocal and performance tightening. Charts and mp3's are provided but not used on stage. When everyone does their homework things move along quickly. We are currently work up a Blues Festival set coming up in April. The emphasis is on performance as a group and in showcasing individual players.
