An experienced guitarist is seeking a newer group or more established outfit whose members are on the level, reliable, easygoing but focused, and gig-minded. Have good gear, a dependable vehicle, and a flexible schedule. Into blues(y), old(er)-school R&B and soul, some funk-type stuff, and however one or more of those translates to rock 'n' roll (the less overdone, the better), pop/jazz standards (can read chord charts), or other familiar-to-me styles (for practical purposes, metal isn't one of them). Will cover a longer distance for the right situation but would prefer something that's based within 20 miles, give or take, of the I-5/US 50 junction near downtown Sac. Not looking for a tribute band or a lower-/lesser-priority side project.
