This account is run by JD, lead guitarist for the band, but I represent four musicians that currently comprise the Hard Rock group "Recreance." We have a lead guitarist (me), a drummer, a singer, and a rhythm guitarist. Everyone involved is a serious musician looking to go far. Right now we are working on covers which we will gig off of. Eventually once we have enough original material written and well-practiced original songs will replace the covers in our live performances. The last piece of the puzzle that we need is a bass player. We are offering the gig to many people so if you're interested, don't hesitate to reach out!

I have amateur and money losing professional experience since the 1970s in barbershop chorus and quartets, church choirs and solos, madrigals, catches, solo recitals of art songs, Bach Chorale Society, operatic excerpts, Gilbert & Sullivan, community musical productions, Renaissance party trio, jazz octet, jazz gospel choir. I have no conservatory education, but I have a solid understanding of music from early experience as a mediocre viola player in orchestras and quartets. I studied voice privately around 1980, and again 2003-2011. Recordings of ensembles singing licensed music on request. I can engrave beautiful musical scores. Although I picked up guitar not too long ago, my passion for music started at birth. Mom and Dad were both 2nd wave punks, raising me on Dead Kennedys, Rancid, Dropkick Murphy s, and friends. I loved to sing along, but only recently realized how the messages resonate well too. I m still open to many other genres, or even starting a new one. Whatever comes next for me, it must be unique and true.
