Although I picked up guitar not too long ago, my passion for music started at birth. Mom and Dad were both 2nd wave punks, raising me on Dead Kennedys, Rancid, Dropkick Murphy s, and friends. I loved to sing along, but only recently realized how the messages resonate well too. I m still open to many other genres, or even starting a new one. Whatever comes next for me, it must be unique and true.
Musical Influences & Inspiration
As a vocalist first, I ve always been enthralled by the tone of bands like the Misfits and Dead Kennedys. The way Glenn Danzig took his inspiration from none other than Elvis Presley, and still pioneered the horror punk genre with it, is truly the sort of special that inspires me. His tone is his though. I like mine to be mine. I m influenced by the innovation of these bands, but I m by no means looking to become a tribute band. I solely want to shape my style around like minded musicians in a band of our own.
