Vocalist - Tenor
Gotta sing. I have amateur and money losing professional experience since the 1970s in barbershop chorus and quartets, church choirs and solos, madrigals, catches, solo recitals of art songs, Bach Chorale Society, operatic excerpts, Gilbert & Sullivan, community musical productions, Renaissance party trio, jazz octet, jazz gospel choir. I have no conservatory education, but I have a solid understanding of music from early experience as a mediocre viola player in orchestras and quartets. I studied voice privately around 1980, and again 2003-2011. Recordings of ensembles singing licensed music on request. I can engrave beautiful musical scores. Some silly free recordings: archive.org/details/o_apos_dbol?and%5B%5D=mediatype%3A%22audio%22 Resume at odonnell.koumbit.org/WildWorbWeed/ODBOL/Singer/

CONCEPT: 70 s Folk duo. Low voice, High voice. Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, (or other famous Folk/Rock singer with a high voice), covers-alternating. Possibly expanding to other similar Artists. (Jim Croce, James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, Michael Murphy etc) I sing Lightfoot really well, but play little Guitar. (But can cover Bass and chords/lead lines on keyboard. Keyboards can provide drum rhythms. Also play violin.) I m a seasoned musician in many realms. Read music exceptionally. Harmonize well. In a position in life where making lots of money is not crucial, but will not play for chump change either. Seeking friendly partner who can cover Denver, (or some similar Artist), all guitar requirements, and high harmonies. Having decent PA a plus. My house is available for rehearsals. Demo from past project: Search -Danny Oelrich.

Looking for: Drums Lead Guitar Bass Fiddle and/or Keys Im aiming for a fun but professional vibe practice once or twice a week, play gigs once or twice a month, and ramp up if the chemistrys right. Covers are the bread and butter, but Id love to work in original material as the band develops. Im honing my music production and recording skills. If this sounds like your kind of project, Id love to connect. Reach out with a bit about yourself or your playing, and Im happy to share more about me, my material, and current gigs.
