Drums I'm a singer/songwriter in the vein of Trampled By Turtles or The Avett Brothers. Looking for a folk, bluegrass, indie or folk/bluegrass/indie band to jump in with. I'm 29, been playing and home recording since I was 14. I'm big on string bands and harmonies in that folkie Peter Paul & Mary style, the contemporary equivalent to which I see in bands like Fleet Foxes or Midlake. I'm a strong vocalist and would love to take center with some good pickers but I'd be down for harmonizing from backstage if it makes a pretty sound.

Lead Guitar Just an old guy that likes to play. Played with 3 bands that had a decent amount of stage time, totaling about 3 tears of weekends onstage with about 30 years of total playing time not consistently.
I would love to find a group of guys/gals with a place close to Odenville/Leeds or this side of 280. Not interested in making it a career but am open to couple nights a month on stage, maybe more with the right situation.
I am a non-smoker and can tolerate some, but not interested in chain smoking players. The last group I played with had one of these guys and Damn! Got bad and don't ever want to go through that again.
