Although this is fun, I am really looking for something new and original with better players so I can grow I am basically self taught and have been playing for almost 40 years . I play by ear. Hi, my name is Julie. My artist name is Julie LaMeng. I recently released my debut cd last year, entitled, 'in His time'. I am currently looking for a guitarist to start doing gigs. So far, I have experience in the studio, singing at church, weddings, funerals, and a couple of outdoor ventures. But really wanting to learn and start performing gigs and with someone's help providing the music, looking to make this more than a 'local bar gig' career pursuit. I love to sing a lot of different genres. My strength is in swinging traditional jazz, then comes pop (60s and 70s), classic rock, soft rock, country(60s and 70s), R &B (60s, 70s). I would love to sing again,....been missing it. lots of performance experience, but love learning new things. Would love to meet older seasoned musicians who are not interested in becoming famous, nor popular ,......just looking to have fun making music,....doing great tunes,....maybe a few gigs here and there. A couple more things -I'm performance ready but have no problem with woodshedding. I have a reliable car, my own sound equipment and mics, tons and fake book charts in "my" key or could transpose if I had the time and the desire. *Note- I don't read music but transpose mathematically.

We are a hard rock band that formed in Ohio just prior to the pandemic. We have relocated back home to Washington and are looking for serious musicians only. We want to start playing again this year again and make music our full time job again. We are currently in the studio recording our new music. Our sound tends to blend influences from hard rock, metal, grunge, punk, goth actually an FYI, both members we listen to literally all genres. We are looking for musicians who want to go beyond the local club. We want people willing to push us to do better than before too. We are looking for a bass player at the moment and a drummer. It would be nice to find a vocalist who can both sing and do screaming/growling. If you can rap, that s a plus. We love genre bending and keeping sh*t heavy and driving. We are also looking for a musician who does electronic as well. We have always wanted to expand that dubstep/edm industrial vibe into our music. Even with us in Kelso, Portland is not too far.
