I love music and have played drums for 45 years. Haven't been in many bands due to school and work. I'm in my early 60's now and want to open that door again. I can handle all ages, no problem.

Just a few that pop into mind now: The Beatles, Traffic, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Fairport Convention, Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Stan Getz, Eric Satie, Serge Prokofiev, Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy. I used to wish I was Neil Peart, Billy Cobham, John Bonham...now I'd rather be more like Ringo.

Early 70's Ludwig kit, used to play double bass (24", 22") w 5 toms but now prefer a smaller kit, perhaps just a 4-piece. Decent cymbals (Z, P, S, one Istanbul). Some mics, AKG D-112 kick, some 57's (probably only 3 now...they tended to be stolen over the years). Have an older electronic drum kit - Roland TD-7, Dauz pads, Drum Kat. Not into the electronic thing much anymore. Got a tenor sax recently I'd like to develop with. Used to mess w Cubase with an Ensoniq ASR-10. Still have the keyboard. But I'm really into acoustic drums primarily.
