I'm a musician from upstate New York, currently attending Syracuse University. I normally write my own music but I am fine with collaborating with others. I am fluent in Guitar and Drums and am also very comfortable playing Bass and Piano. My two main musical acts have been my solo project under 'Chris Litwa' and also my work on 'Casted Shadows' which is my greatest musical achievement to date. I find myself with a plethora of music to play but no band to back me up. If you like the music and are willing to work with me in Syracuse or near Burnt Hills New York

Older singer-songwriter who has written with both an Academy of Country Music Award Winner, and a multi Grammy-nominated Producer/Arranger/Songwriter is looking for someone who would be interested in forming a duo or trio. Please note that I am NOT an instrumentalist. Would love to play out at least once or twice a month, and while making money would be nice, it's not a motivating factor for me. I gravitate toward stuff from the 50s to the 70s, but have no problem singing newer tunes as well. Big Beatles fan. Love Simon and Garfunkel, Jim Croce, The Monkees, and ... well, you get the idea. I'm also a fan of older country music (like Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Glen Campbell, Ray Price, Kris Kristofferson, etc). Would be cool if you write and sing as well, but that is not a dealbreaker. Anyone interested? If so, please shoot me a note, and tell me a little about yourself, your background, etc. Would be great if you could also send a link to one of your performances. No set requirements other than the ability to play guitar or keys. Open to male, female, younger, or older. It all works! PLEASE NOTE: Someone who is available to practice during the day on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays would be ideal.

Basically I would like to find a few musicians that would enjoy getting together to write our own music. If we have the opportunity to play out then we should take it. If not, life in a recording atmosphere is not so bad. I would not mind covering a few tunes, but I'm thinking high energy, big sound power trio type stuff. I'm in my late 50's & bring some experience to the table. I spent 15 years raising my 2 daughters & now that they're grown up & getting on with their lives I would like to get back into playing again. I picked up my Bass a few years ago & have had many days that I have played for 3-4 hours going over scales & riffs & creating loops. I purchased recording equipment. I was part of a 3 piece Fusion band that had a gigantic sound. It fizzled & I'm fine with that. What an experience. I like to write along the lines of Jeff Beck, Tool, Crimson etc. I have a few finished tunes & lots of stuff that needs finishing. I also have some loops that can be fitted to something. I have some stuff on a cloud that can be accessed with a link if you would like to hear a few things. I do not have rehearsal space so that will be a small hurdle. I am responsible, do my homework, commit, have transportation & love to play. I tend to work out details in the music I write rather than ad lib a tune. I leave that for the guitarist. If it's a fat bottom end you're looking for, I come in pretty handy for that.
