Looking for a full time lead guitarist. Problem with current guitarist is he plays in 3 bands; creates too many conflicting schedules. We are dead serious, and really looking to do concert type venues. We are older players and really don't dig the bar scene and having to play 3 sets etc.; although we are currently playing a lot of bars. The music is all original. Every place we have played has rebooked us for the entire year; so the music is solid. I drummed for Robbin Thompson in the 70's. Robbin was Bruce Springsteen's lead singer in one of his early bands named Steel Mill. Info on Robbin Thompson can be found by spelling his name as one word. (evidently, you can't post links) I played 25 years with The Buddy Parker Band. We opened for BB King, Delbert McClinton, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Night Hawks, Joe Bonamassa, Charlie Sexton, etc. I have played for numerous blues, and top 40's bands. I just recently moved to Sarasota. I really have an interest in playing with bands that do original material.
