Ray Rojo is an experienced drummer and a teacher. Ray Rojo drums started playing drums at the age of 13 years old. His neighbour had a drum set and he let him played drums. At that time, he thought that hitting stuff and making loud noises was the greatest way to spend his time.
Musical Influences & Inspiration
As an educator, he wrote a series of six beginning drum books published by Violet Anamnesis Publications called Beginner Series: Drums Method. He taught as a private tutor at M.I., taught at Cornel School of Contemporary Music, and he currently teach at Modern Music School in Pasadena. Ray Rojo also teach privately out of my own home studio. His most recent book, Advanced Drumming Coordination A Comprehensive Guide to Four-Way Independence, is what he consider to be my biggest contribution to the drumming world yet.
