The La Marque Music Scene

One of the most popular local bands in La Marque is The Derailers. This country rock band has been playing together for over 20 years and has released four albums. The Derailers are known for their high-energy live shows and their catchy songs.

Another popular local band is The Bluebonnets. This blues band has been playing together for over 10 years and has released two albums. The Bluebonnets are known for their soulful blues sound and their energetic live shows.

In addition to these two bands, there are many other talented musicians who call La Marque home. Some of these musicians include:

* The O'Jays, a soul and R&B group who formed in La Marque in 1954
* The Fabulous Thunderbirds, a blues rock band who formed in La Marque in 1979
