Seeking lead/harmonizing female vocals and players for informal jams or create band. New to Upstate, SC. I am currently set up as a solo act, performing lead vocals and picking acoustic guitar. Mostly cover songs(in my own natural voice) and original instrumentals inspired from relevant genre. Would love to meet up with other vocalists(including female voices) and players, to trade lead vocals and harmonies.. Open to duet, trio or band setting. Open to informal jam or gigging. I have rigs for performing small to medium stages. My instruments are vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, ukulele and electric bass. My vocal range is from Baritone through Tenor. Favorite musical genre include: Acoustic Rock/Ballads, Americana, Folk, Country, Rock n Roll, Southern Rock, Rockabilly, various Blues, some Funk...a little Pop, Reggae and Hawaiian Slack Key. Back story: Similar to many of Appalachia, I was born into a musical folk/country-rock family. My mom was the musical matriarch; a prolific singer/songwriter, who played 12-string and wrote for contemporary artists. She had a lovely, soulful voice, a captivating stage presence...and has been my biggest inspiration... I used to sing the lower harmonies for her, while my sisters and aunt traded the higher harmonies(ala The Judds "Grandpa(tell me bout the good 'ol days))". Nowadays, I have brought my voice more to the front. I feel I have something to say, albeit primarily via the songs originally written by others.. Also, I'm a stagehand and instrument tech.
