Do you miss playing jazz classics? Female Boomer vocalist seeks acoustical guitarist, pianist, or other musician to have fun singing1940s through 1970s jazz including Latino and Brazilian standards in Miami area. Think Sarah Vaughn, Diane Krall, Getz, Gilberto, Cleo Lane, Jon Hendricks. I currently sing in a small band with infrequent rehearsals and would like more singing action. Love learning new stuff. Although I also perform in a classical chorale, for me singing jazz is not about rote perfection, but rather the simpler things of life: enjoying rehearsing, connecting, and adding new twists to old arrangements.
