Hard rock and hair metal; Big Country, Rush, U2, The Who, Pink Floyd, Yes, Brian May, Sugar/Bob Mould, Plasmatics, Sex Pistols, early Aerosmith, AC/DC; Aaron Copland; Baroque chamber and choral music; thunderous drums - tympani and deep, spongy, resonant toms; explosive noises, sonic booms; every song I've ever heard; big music that is hard, loud, and heavy.
