Here's more information: We're a working band with bookings into December. Since May we've been working with fill-in drummers, with bigger and better opportunities (area wise) ,time to find "Our" drummer. As we are trying to create something specific, please (out of consideration of everyone's time) read the entire post. The ideal candidate: Must be over 21 preferably under 55 Have EXPERIENCE playing out Have a sincere passion for playing Is open to playing with a simple kit About us: Booking as The Blue Kush, we're relatively new to the area(Poconos -Stroudsburg)but due to an amazing streak in early summer, we've been able to book steadily. Not overwhelmingly, but at least 4 times a month for the foreseeable future. Pubs, Private Events, Festival we've been doing all of 'em and the opportunities continue to come in. Due to my more than 20years in and around the business, the right networks are linked for becoming represented, booking the Top Gigs in the area, as well as recording original material,but before that can happen we need OUR drummer to solidify our base trio. Our set includes but isn't limited to:Blues, Surf, Rockabilly, Old School Rock n Roll and Old School R&B. Stray Cats, SRV, Ventures, Anything that sounds like it could be in a Tarantino Movie etc...
