I'm seeking to create a band inspired by the likes of Slipknot, GWAR, Ghost, etc. The only problem I'm having is I'm very new to the area and don't really know that many people and the few I do aren't really the type, so needless to say, I'm struggling to find some other psychos to take this journey with me.Right now it's only myself and one potential taker for the drum spot, I'm in need of two guitarists, a drummer, a bassist, a DJ and miscellaneous extra percussion. I've had this idea burning inside me since I was a kid and could never find the right people but I grew up in Mormonville so that's not really a big f*****g surprise there, but I'm hoping now I'm out here, maybe I can give this a real shot, if I can find the right people to want to do this s**t with me. But dont be too quick to put a label on Dans style he tosses out leads from a mix that some have called "enigmatic" harkening back to his early days of Western Swing and Country. Dans been playing for 30+ years, including a stint in the 70s with Country Blue, doing everything from Bob Wills, to Muddy Waters. Hes backed up Nick Gravenites, worked with the Sonoma County Blues Society Band and produced the latest Blue Blazes Album in conjunction with Monkey Business Studios. After moving to Oregon 16 years ago he worked his Blue Blazes at local venues. He now works with Lowe Down which does and eclectic mix of Blues, Country, Western Swing and Old Rock and Roll.

I play acoustic guitar and sing, I love to write songs but I also do love to collaborate too as well sometimes.I typically write southern gothic music per example stuff similar to Johnny Cash, and Shawn James(a amazing singer/songwriter in my opinion although he is definitely way better than me at it.)My personal songs are usually dark folky music, dark bluesy music, and every now and again some soft indie stuff.I play guitar but i'm currently still learning it and mastering so I still have a long ways to go with guitar is what i'm trying to say.
