I'm a 38 year old bassist and have been playing music my entire life. My passion started with wood winds and I transitioned to strings late in high school. I foind myself focusing more on my acoustic which has helped nurture my love for folk music. This past year I have decided to refocus my attention on Bass, reinvigorating my love and focusing on filling in some of the gaps that I missed along the way. Currently my focus has been on learning, understanding and mastering Harmonic Layering - Arpeggios, Chord tones and Scales. The more we learn, the less we know and I'm finding this to be more true than ever.I also have extensive Studio experience, not only as a musician but also as an engineer. I worked at Love Juice Laboratories in La Habra, and have worked on several projects ranging from Death Metal to Pop Punk and everything in between (jazz is by far my favorite to record).When I'm not practicing bass, I'm jamming and learning covers on my acoustic, I love to sing any chance I get and can belt out Sea Shanty and Sea Song any day of the week.
