Singer and lyricist looking for musicians who can work with me to create original songs. I can come up with decent melodies on occasion too. The words I write range from despair to joy and from struggles to triumphs. But I will not stray from my Christian beliefs to promote sin. I don't want to concentrate on worship songs but real life songs with positive themes or outcomes. I'm not a big fan of typical Christian Rock. I prefer the more complex music from the likes of NeedToBreathe.

I've been playing for over 30 years and started singing a couple years ago. Currently, I'm performing mostly acoustic shows around Raleigh, but I also fill in as lead guitar for various bands. I'm looking to put together a band covering today's country music aka Nashville country. I also want to include 'good time' songs that people love to hear - classics like Brown Eyed Girl, Devil With A Blue Dress, Hands to Yourself, etc. Basically, my goal is to have the great band that everyone wants to go hear.Update: I've got a drummer and a bass player as well as rehearsal space. I Have Sang In Church Since About 8 Or 9 Years Old, Did Chorus In High School And College; Asu, I Have Done Several Solo Gigs With I-Pod Back Ground Music Or My Own Guitar Playing. I Performed For 2 Hours Several Times And Have Just Did A Song Or Two At Weddings Or Special Occasions. I Do Alright With The Guitar But Vocals Is More My Thing, Country Female Singers Is More To My Likings But Really Get Into Some Of Pop Songs, Some Of The Older Rock, There Are Alot Good Songs Right Now Being Done Duets With Male Singers, I Would Be Real Interested In Doing Some Of These Songs.
