Moved to Durham in September 2016 and have been actively looking for people to jam with wherever possible. I have played guitar for somewhere around a few years effectively although I've played most of my life without learning how to improve until the recent years. Picked up bass in the last couple months and that has been progressing well and I can certainly fit into a jam on bass as long as other musicians can communicate what they are playing (Key/mode/feel/etc.) I'm still a bit of a beginner in music theory and have been studying for a couple years in that aspect of music. I still cannot figure things out in my head or by ear quickly but with enough time I can. I can reasonably write music or figure out what works/doesn't in a given piece.
