I am a songwiter looking work with distinctive if not unique voices. Open minded and humourous, but ambitious singers 18+. Talent comes in many shapes and sizes. Samples for the benefit of propective singers are posted at The Diplomatic Core on Soundcloud.
I want to collaborate on-line because I am Uk based, but with a global perspective. I have methods for doing this which do work. If you are not prepared to work in this capacity initially, do not reply.
My repertoire is very diverse and I am not concerned with specific genres - good songs can be interpreted in many ways and I will do several versions in some cases.
Most of material aimed at females are ballads and for the males a wider sphere of material, but I am writing constantly and can tailor projects to a particular artist. Some are quite conventional in arrangement and others off the wall.
Male baritones and strong rock singers (tenor and alto) wanted for sure. The females can be any range, but a bit of grit and passion very much appreciated. Gospel and/or a Soul background especially welcome.
Some of the material is leftfield/alternative and conventions are there to be broken to be innovative. I eschew definition.
I am extending my search globally as I have a particular sound in my mind's eye for my material and I am aiming to create a definitive version of particular songs to market & promote them through a multitude of media and would share income with that performer. I will outsource some arrangements and mixing/mastering to others.
