50 yrs professional experience in the Ny/Nj Metro area as a freelance Trombonist and Vocalist Specialty these days is traditional/dixieland jazz, vintage pop, show tunes, Great American Songbook ...do most of the Bennet/Sinatra/Satchmo/Crosby stuff. Also do things like German Oom-Pah ( I have lederhosen) and most novelty gigs. Great at leading and calling tunes. Hope to hook up with smoothie quartet or with a Tuba and banjo/guitar you're old enough, think Your Father's Mustache or Red Garter clubs that were popular in the 60's and 70' Hambone Kelly's of Boonton Nj in the 80's, all of them "banjo Sing-a-long clubs". I performed extensively for them in Ny, New Orleans, Denver, Wildwood and in traveling showbands. Tons of experience in clubs, lounges and restaurants as both a sideman and leader. Retired in 2010 after 40yrs as a public school music teacher (mostly in Wayne Nj) and have extensive credentials as a band, orchestral, pit band and choral conductor Located in North Jersey
