I am President and mellophone player for the Blue Eagles Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps. We are trying to connect with possible new members. We are looking for new members for our Horn and Drum lines. We do parades in Eastern PA / Western NJ area. It is a fun group for anyone who loves the Drum Corps (or Marching Band) experience but cannot commit to all the time it takes for competition corps. One of the most popular local bands is The Hillsboroughs. This four-piece rock band has been playing together for over 10 years and has a loyal following in the area. They have released two albums and have toured extensively throughout New Jersey and the surrounding areas.
Another popular local band is The Shakes. This blues-rock band has been playing together for over 20 years and has a reputation for putting on a high-energy show. They have released three albums and have toured extensively throughout the United States.
In addition to these two bands, there are many other talented musicians and bands in the Hillsborough music scene. Some of the other local favorites include The Lost Boys, The Smoking Popes, and The Bouncing Souls.
The Hillsborough music scene is not only about the bands themselves, but also about the community that supports them.
