Started private lessons at nine. Through jr. high and high school played mainly rock, big band jazz, concert band & country. 4 years as Six Flags orchestra drummer. Played with Herb Drury, George Johnson, Terry Thompson, Gary Dammer, & backed Motown artists Frieda Payne, Fontella Bass, and others. Studied at North Texas & played in 7 o'clock band and in many small combos. Played in Emmit Kelley Circus Band and several gigs with just B-3 and drums. Can read read charts and play every day. Just returned to St Louis area.
