Vocalist - General
I'm a vocalist in Venice, Fl. The band I'm with was, up until recently, and organ trio (organ, guitar and drums) known as Pure Organic Trio. I've known two of the members for about six years, they decided they wanted to add vocals to the group and asked me to join.
Our drummer has moved to Tallahassee so we are actively searching for a drummer in our area. We're looking for someone in the age range of 21 - 35 (not necessarily a must!). We need someone who is reliable with decent transportation and is able to play improv.
Our ultimate goal is to learn a good amount of covers while also writing original songs and then getting gigs around Florida - younger bar crowds, possibly music festivals. When we learn covers, we like to keep them along the same lines as the originals but to put our own flavor on them. We Do Not Want To Be A Cover Band but we're not against having a them under our belt. We all have full time jobs so we aren't looking to be working musicians but paying gigs are always nice.
