I'm a drummer with 30+ years of experience, with a background spanning rock, funk, blues, pop, Motown, punk, Brazilian music, jazz, and Latin. Ive spent the past 10 years focusing more seriously on jazz and Afro-Cuban/Latin music and am looking to play with experienced musicians who are serious, committed, and want to make good music. Im open to either joining an established band/project or starting something from the ground up. Jazz, funk, Latin, and rock are especially appealing, but Im not too picky about genre as long as the musicians are good, reliable, and committed to rehearsing and playing live. Ultimately, Im looking for people who want to build something together and actually get out and play.
