Guitarist, Multi-Instrumentalist seeks other musicians who like to play and perform Jazz, Classical, World styles of music. I'll play most anything, but those are my favorite styles, and yes, we can find gigs playing those styles. I have worked with flutists since the eighties, and am looking for a flutist or violinist who can read. A saxophonist to play jazz with would be wonderful, as well! I have LOTS of sheet music, scores of scores. I have studied music therapy, and know what effects music has on us. I have also performed live improv theater for 24 years, love it!
Musical Influences & Inspiration
There are many influences: Classical- Baroque - Impressionist, Jazz- everything, but I have years of professional experience with Latin jazz and World jazz. Grew up listening to Prog Rock, have played many styles over the years. Favorite guitarists: John McLaughlin, Steve Howe, Robert Fripp, Andres Segovia, Narcisco Yepes. Other musicians: Sri Zakir Hussain, Sri Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sri Anindo Chatterji
