Drums
I am an experienced and reliable drummer. Easy to work with. I have played with original bands, cover bands, one-off bands and last minute fill-in work. I can play pocket groove or busy if needed for the song. I can swing, but don't consider myself a traditional jazz player. Able to follow a drum chart. My musical philosophy is that the overall dynamics and sound of the group is more important than any one instrument. I began playing in high school in 1978. Looking for an established working band in the Monterey Bay Area. Also willing to do sub work. Musicians Connect limits the number of genres you can check. I'm happy to play Rock, Classic Rock, Pop, R&B, Funk, "smooth jazz", Motown, Blues, Country and Americana.
