Really, I just want to make some music with people. My ideal band would be sort of an indie alternative thing with lots of soul, sort of Arcade Fire meets Otis Redding, but I'm super flexible. I value interesting and innovative lyrics and just general creativity. I don't care if you're trying to be the next Bob Dylan, Joey Ramone, Josh Groban, Queen Latifah or Etta James, let's get together and see what kind of music we make. Hey guys! I'm mainly a bass player and looking for opportunities there but my musical background includes acoustic guitar and alto saxophone (super out of practice with the sax though). Not a lot of gigging experience on the bass but I played sax all through high school and in many competitions and shows so I'm used to being in the spotlight. Looking to jam and have fun and maybe make a little money gigging to supplement my income. Totally open to non-permanent session work (filling in at a gig etc.) Can do covers and write my own bass lines.
