We are the metal band, Memories Never Die. We are a very strong established band and really chill group of guys who have a big passion for music. We sound a lot like a mix of All That Remains Killswitch Engage, Breaking Benjamin and Light The Torch. The Band needs Individuals willing and able to commit to at least twice sometimes three times a week for practice, and shows occasionally. We will be doing some shows in the upcoming months, we are trying to concentrate on recording more music also. The band has 12 songs already written for an upcoming album and there will be a lot of learning. Rewriting to make the songs better after the album is finished, we can start writing new material. There will be plenty of time to get ready before the band does more shows. We do have recording equipment that the band has accessible to Studio One software. 21+ The requirements that the band is looking for are: NO FLAKES. We need someone honest and upfront, reliable and drama free. We practice in West Valley City at our practice space. (Bassist) Own equipment, reliable transportation, team player, drama free, creative and can pick things up quickly. (Drummer) somebody serious, reliable transportation for practices and gigs. I began my music journey on the flute in Tonganoxie, Kansas Middle School Marching Band, music theater in school, and good old church choir - Soprano, Alto, Contralto depending on the music. Symphony Monet Missouri - Ozark Festival Orchestra (Double Bass) 1992-1995, Marching Razorbacks & Hog-Wild Band 1995-1997, Principal Music director for the local Neosho church choir & combined local choirs for the "Stake" performances in southwest Missouri Joplin Stake 1995-1997 ... With health complications I had, I took a break to be a mom for 15 years ... 2008-2010 I did intensive vocal training with Paul Harms; former Understudy in the L.A. Opera for Placido Domingo. My focused vocal studies were at Idaho State University in Classical, Baroque, Renaissance, Romantic, & modern time periods. My private studies have been in vocal mechanics, proprioception, breath work, vocal toning for meditation & sound bath / tribal music, classical / natural whole voice expression, or Speech Level Singing: second-Generation study through Seth Riggs techniques, Paul Harms studied with multiple notable performers & masters in L.A. for 19 years, beyond his training & education musically. 2021 I joined River Trip Band as Supporting Vocalist, Flautist, & Keyboard / misc. percussion shakers as needed ... Americana, Folk Rock leaning band. Casey Waters is the Principal Singer, guitarist, & songwriter. I have written a few songs, and enjoy playing around with vocals ... Rock music is a blast, and I have fun with many upbeat songs & styles from blusey to pop and dabble in some metal vocally.
