I am primarily a bass player, but have gigged as an acoustic solo artist. I am a singer/songwriter. I have a home studio. Looking to jam/play locally. Maybe finding some players who can help me cultivate some jazz chops in my bass playing! :-D

Musical Influences & Inspiration

This is always a hard thing to dial in for me. As a bass player coming up in the late 70's, I have to say that I was mainly influenced by Sting, Jaco, Chuck Rainey, Dave Hope and others. More recently (90's - present) Gary Willis, Mark Egan, Brian Bromberg and the like. Tom Petty encouraged me - "Playing cover songs was too hard, so I wrote my own!". LOL.

Gear & Equipment

I build my own basses and bass cabinets. I am currently using Pat Quilter's amps. I have a Taylor acoustic and an Epiphone Broadway that I use for recording. I also diddle around with my Yamaha p45 piano.
