I'm originally from New York ,and Union City, New Jersey. I'd like to form a Latin Charanga style band, to revive this music style. I'm of Cuban, Spanish descent. I have a good sense of humor, and at the same time, enjoy playing and sharing music.
Musical Influences & Inspiration
Growing up in New York and Union City, I had many music influences as I listened to many styles of music. At a very young age, The Beatles, Badfinger, and other rock bands from the 60's,and 70's were my influences. As I got older, I was also able to connect with my Latin roots. I enjoy listening to 70's Latin music. I really liked Hector Lavoe, Celia Cruz. Orquesta Broadway, La Charanga 76,Ray Barretto, Larry Harlow and Orquesta Harlow,Charanga Casino,and many other bands from that era.
