Hello. I am a bass player in search of a situation. Stage and studio experience going on forty-five years. Professional equipment, and yes I have transportation. What am I looking for? An outfit of some sort to play a few tunes for an audience, and/or session work. Blues or blues rock preferred. Maybe some southern rock. I can also do country, reggae, a little bit of soul, and whatever fits into the Americana genre. I will play indoors, outdoors, festivals, bars, private parties, food trucks, bar mitzvas, etc. An established or about to be established band would be nice. But Im not opposed to getting together with like-minded pickers to see whats up. What do you get? A bass player that can count to four and start over again repeatedly. My strengths are time, tone, tempo, and dynamics. Id like to think I can slow down or speed up an already recorded track. I can maybe sing some. But I wouldnt hire me for that. Stage presence and attitude? Yes. Plenty. I have a little home studio for remote recording. Im a trained graphic and web designer if the band needs that kind of thing. And for the crazed I can teach you how to skydive. What you DO NOT get: a virtuoso, slapper or soloist. I dont smoke (cigs or the hippie weed) and dont drink White Claw. What I DO NOT want: Top 40 cover outfits, tribute bands, screaming loud kid music of any kind or rap. Location and access: I live and work in Toledo (WA) which is centered directly in the middle of nowhere. I understand that travel is likely gonna happen for me. I own my own business, so my schedule is flexible. But Id say I would like to keep it between Olympia and Vancouver (WA). But if youre ZZ Top or Foghat Ill carry it out some miles further. Musical Influences & Inspiration

Influences and bands: Robert Cray, SRV Jimmy Vaughn, T-birds, Johnny Winter and related outfits. Tedeschi- Trucks, Govt Mule, Allmans, Marshall Tucker, Wet Willie and the like. Anything Stax or Muscle Shoals. Throw in some 70s arena rock like Grand Funk and Rare Earth. And the aforementioned ZZ and Foghat. My favorite bass players are Ed Friedland and Rich Gooch. You may have to look them up.
