I am looking to sing lead on 80s old-wave synth-pop covers & originals in that style. I can play some light keys, but not lead. I favor the darker, more rhythmic, synth-heavy pieces & appreciate interesting vocals & harmonies. Currently interested in part-time & weekend projects as I am a full-time hardware/software engineer. The audio snippet I posted here is a raw vocal & keys solo cover of "Saved By Zero", recorded ambient via microphone. My best fit would be with Tampa Bay amateur-intermediate band members that have good day jobs, but would like to play for fun mostly on weekends. We would practice once every 2-3 weeks & play-out once every 2-3 months or when opportunities arise where everyone is up for it.Ideally, we would have: lead/rhythm guitar, bass guitar, lead keys/synths, drums/e-drums; with backing/harmony vocals a plus. I would sing lead & play some backing synth layers & effects.
