Kevin Wicker has shared the stage and studio with some of Nashville's most successful artists, writers and producers -- such as SHELBY LYNNE, DOLLY PARTON, JACK CLEMENT (Producer; Charlie Pride, U2, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley), GARY S. PAXTON, and many others. Currently, he owns and operates his own production company and recording studio. He continues to write and perform in the Nashville area. Owner of Progress Music Nashville. Musical Influences & Inspiration

"My musical influences are vast. I was brought up around Gospel, Country, Jazz, and Classical. I came up in a very musical family, and made my first record at age eight. Since then, I've never looked back. I love the classics, in any genre. I grew up around Elvis and the Beatles, along with 60s and 70s Nashville. In the 80s, I branched out as a musical student of Todd Rundgren, Steely Dan, and 80s Pop-Rock. I have a massive record collection, so my influences over the years vary -- which is how I became proficient playing in different styles. I've always stayed true to the music. It hasn't been easy at all. But the lessons I've learned, as an artist and in life, have been well worth it. Whatever it is you do, do it with all your heart."
