I am an accomplished keyboardist preferring Contemporary Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Funk, and R&B styles. I read music and have a well-developed ear. I play multiple keyboards and can provide auxiliary parts (horns, synth, strings, etc.) simultaneously while playing piano. I am primarily interested in bands, or musicians who are serious about making money.

So many over the years have had influences on my playing. These are just a few that I have listening to/modeled: Jeff Lorber, Chicago, George Duke, Weather Report, Steely Dan, Chick Corea, The Yellowjackets, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Incognito, The Gap Band. Artists/Bands that I have listened to involve a great many more: Chaka Khan, KEM, Lindsey Webster, Al Jarreau, Maurice White, Jill Scott, Sade.

Gear & Equipment

I own a Roland Fantom G workstation, a Roland Juno Di synth, and an M-Audio Axiom Pro 49 MIDI controller. I typically use 2-3 keyboards on stage, have a powered wedge with a 15/horn, keyboard mixer. I also own a stereo DI for sending signal to an external mixer.
