Blues, rockabilly, although not my forte - old jazz standards. Looking to do mainly the old stuff, very old. 20's, 30's, 40's, some of the obscure songs rarely heard. Also, taking some more well-known things and doing them, well, differently, maybe adding a little 'edge' to them, maybe changing them up a little. Blusing out Sinatra's "Nice N Easy," making "The House of the Rising Sun" into a swing tune from the Benny Goodman era and adding a little 'grind' to it. That sort of thing.Not looking for fame, just some extra cash, and fun.
Musical Influences & Inspiration
James Dewer of Robin Trower, Paul Rogers of Bad Company, as far as voices go. As for music, Queen, Johnny Winter, ELO, Elvis, Sinatra, Philip Glass (although not to perform).
