Were Hotel Ugly, an indie pop duo making offbeat, soul-infused tracks from our home studio. Our sound blends mellow grooves, alt-R&B textures, and honest, off-kilter songwriting like if a bedroom pop project had a weird dream and turned it into music. Were currently looking to connect with music writers, curators, and platforms that support emerging artists with something a little different to say. Whether its a feature, playlist spot, interview, or write-up, wed love to share our story and songs with new audiences.

Musical Influences & Inspiration

Outside of music, were inspired by late-night conversations, old cartoons, empty parking lots, and the strange beauty of everyday life. We try to capture that quiet in-between space something emotional, a little awkward, but real.

We record everything in a simple home setup using Ableton, a Scarlett 2i2, and a mix of live instruments and soft synths. Guitars, bass, and a few weird plugins do most of the heavy lifting.
