I like vocal harmony, lead vocals with a strong connection to the lyric, good groove, intelligent lyrics, acoustic guitar sounds, electric guitar sounds and I am technically knowledgeable about midi, audio and music theory. I do my best to have an open mind and open ears. It's just acoustic guitar/vocal.

Ricky Nelson, Chuck Berry, Early R&B, Motown, Beatles, Stones, Joni Mitchell, Dylan, Csn, Steely Dan, Jackson Browne, 20th Century music in general, Amos Lee, Jason Mraz, Americana artists, Reggae, African Music, and a modest amount of techno influence. Currently, vocal blends I like include, Alison Krauss and Dan Tyminski , Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, and The Wailing Jennys. You might think that I'm pretty rootsy and I am but I would not rule out techno influences or harder edges.
