50 years gigging experience. Guitar, Bass, Drums, a little Keyboards, Lead AND harmony vocals. Looking for people of ANY ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, (no bigots, please), and age, who are into all types of Rock, R&B (60s and 70s,my fav), Jazz, and have decent chops to back it all up. Possibility of a gig at a dispensary smoking lounge. Should be a wide open demographic, so I'm thinking that a band could play so many different types of music, including originals. My profile picture is me in the early 80s playing guitar. The videos I have are me in the 2010s on drums.
Musical Influences & Inspiration
King Crimson (influenced by Fripp AND Bruford), Steely Dan, James Brown, Allan Holdsworth, Joni Mitchell, Elvin Jones, The Beatles, Weather Report, The Stooges, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Motown (when they were on W. Grand Blvd.!) Sergio Mendes and Brazil '66, Roy Clark, Frank Zappa, Ella Fitzgerald, to name a few. Inspiration is the fact that I've been stagnant (and retired) for too long and I need to get out and make some NOISE!
