I'm looking to connect with fellow Dead Head/Classic Rock types who play lead-rhythm guitar, bass, drums, blues harp, keys...organ grinder (no monkey!) to form a working mayhem...or band. Time to commit is a must. Functional proficiency (with Dead music) is a must. Intermediate ability and up. I don't mind mistakes, I make em', but you do need to know how to play well enough to keep the flow. Unfortunately I'm not mobile (loss of vehicle-no replacement $ and a preventive minor health issue...double bummer). There is practice space here albeit a bit tight. It's also my art studio...and a storage area. An alley cat rehab, utility area, all things repair shop...office...green house...mayhem headquarters...not to mention the only place I have to live in at the moment! Word of advice, if you want to be an artist...take up dentistry. Or own a funeral home. At least then you'll always have steady work! I play "classic rock" era music, mostly Dead (normal tempo not Slow and Co.) and I prefer 60's-70's material though later stuff is good too. I really like Pigpen blues, as it more matches my playing style. I would welcome and appreciate more melodic and experienced players to join in on the prankster mayhem. I also like to play some Zappa tunes; Cosmik-Slime-Camarillo and yes humor does belong in music. I have some good material and routines for a comedic band project if enough people are interested. Not only Dead or FZ but many other classic rock songs can be on tap, and as always, cool original grooves and jams are always a good option. If this sounds good to you, then maybe there's something wrong with us. But it will be fun. ...and probably still scare the squares

Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Yes, Rush, Jeff Beck, Miles Davis, John Coletrain, Gong, Frank Zappa, Santana, Sabbath, Cheech and Chong...I think you get where I'm coming from.
