I'm looking for people to play music with casually - maybe once a week. I think personal chemistry is more important in the beginning rather than how accomplished you are. Actually, good personal chemistry always matters most to me because friendship AND music is really what I'm looking for. i don't have quite enough of either right now. In thinking about all the best bands I ever played, it was the ones that had a more egalitarian and relaxed atmosphere that I thought produced the best and most fun music, even though they were very different in style, and at different points in the past. Doing gigs is pretty low on my list. But getting better at recording music is very interesting to me. Anyway, thanks for your consideration.

Musical Influences & Inspiration

When I was young I loved only loud flashy hard rock and jazz-rock. As I got older I became much more diverse with what I liked, or at least appreciated. This process continues to this day, to the point where I'm even willing to do drums over music it wasn't intended. It might not sound so good sometimes, but I'm just fooling around anyway. One cool thing I've discovered is that I'm willing to play different types of music I wouldn't just listen to. It's all about the groove. That's what inspires me.
