I am the musical director of Second Chanze. We are a 4-piece dance band playing music from the 40's - 80's and beyond. We play private affairs for organizations and country clubs in the greater Sarasota-Venice-Bradenton area. All cover songs are arranged and minimal rehearsing is required. Always need to have back up musicians to fill-in when my regular musicians have previous bookings. ALL SAXOPHONE AND BASSISTS MUST READ MUSIC at at a minimum college level sight reading. Need Tenor/clarinet player. Must play clarinet.
Musical Influences & Inspiration
My background is Jazz, Big-Band and Latin music. Former trombonist with arranging background. I founded Second Chanze for the purpose of playing to generations from the 40's through the 80's and some of today's pop hits. Most of the musicians read music therefore we rehearse minimally. My target work areas are country clubs and private organizations.

I use a NORD Electro 73 HP with a EV-12 powered speaker. For vocals we use 2 JBL EON 10 powered speakers with a Yamaha mixer.
