We are Reed Brake, an improvisational roots rock quartet based in Tuscaloosa. Our original songs have elements of folk, bluegrass, country, and psychedelic rock. We pull from a wide range of musical influences, but improvisation is an important element. We have regular local gigs in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, but play regionally as well, into the neighboring states. We are looking for a drummer so we can finalize our Spring '26 gigs. We practice as a full band about once a week. We average 23 gigs a month, but additional private bookings push us to 36 gigs on occasion.
