Ricky Allison – Bass Player Ricky was born in Lake Worth, Texas and was raised in the small North Central Texas town of Pilot Point. Ricky's father was a self taught Rhythm guitar player and was Ricky's first musical influence. Growing up watching his dad play, Ricky knew this was what he wanted to do. At the age if 8 years old, Ricky's dad taught him to play rhythm guitar. In High School Ricky played Alto and Baritone sax in Marching Band and Concert band. Ricky taught himself to play Bass guitar, and played in a band with some high school friends. In the 1980's he experimented with other music Genres, such as Rock, blues, etc., but came back to his roots, which was his love for country music. In his mid 20's Ricky played with a very popular local band in the Dfw area called Young Country. He then went on the road playing with a band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, touring the Us and Canada circuit doing shows with such great country artists as Radney Foster, Collin Ray, Joe Diffie, and Patty Loveless. After coming off the road Ricky took a break from music for several years. Then in 2012, he met and became friends with some great and very talented musicians and reignited that passion all over again. Once again, Ricky pursues his first love, playing country music. Currently residing in Crowley, Texas. He is now playing bass for Doug Stone .
