I'm primarily into music from the 60s through the 90spretty much anything except jazz and classical. I'm perfectly happy holding down a solid groove and supporting the song. I'm not looking to be flashy. I started playing bass in June 2026 with the goal of eventually joining a band. I've never been in a band or performed with other musicians outside of middle school band, where I played percussion, so I'm definitely a beginner. That said, I practice almost every day and I'm serious about improving as quickly as I can. I coach group fitness classes every week, so performing in front of people doesnt intimidate me. Im easygoing, have no ego, and I'm not interested in personal drama. I show up, put in the work, listen, and want to be someone my bandmates can count on. If you know of any bands in or around the Greenwood area looking for a reliable, mature beginner bass player who can root-fifth with the best of them, I'd love to hear from you.
