I play 10-15 paid gigs per month as an acoustic cover singer for supplemental income. I am a very versatile singer and an above average rhythm guitarist. My goal is to collaborate with some other talented musicians to create a "super" cover band of 90s pop and alternative similar to my friends in My So Called Band out of Nashville (think Lithium and 90s on 9 on Sirius). Other styles like hip hop or country could be folded into encores because I can sing anything. I dont want to knock off a cover band but their model is highly successful. I have been to a half dozen of their gigs and seeing a crowd of 1500 go apeshit for Weezer, Pearl Jam, then drop a Snoop Dogg mashup in its pretty cool. I am wired into bigger budget gig opportunities but dont have a bigger product to offer them. I collaborate with a lead guitarist but our drummer moved out of town and so I just do solo work right now.
