I am 17 years old and I've been playing the violin for about 5 years. I started out doing old-time and classical styles but soon moved on to traditional Scottish music, which I have been playing ever since. I also love to play covers of rock and pop songs, and have composed many strings covers of songs by bands such as Florence + the Machine, Fall Out Boy, 10 Years and Imagine Dragons. I also want to dabble into cello and percussion. I have also started writing my own music recently. I am looking for other musicians to jam with, write & compose with, for composing advice, and for violin teachers, preferably who play Celtic, Scottish, Irish or Scandinavian-style fiddle. I'd also love to find a songwriter to work with , since I am composing new music but cannot write lyrics very well.
